Magnificent Purple Cope Vestment For Advent Carols LentThis is a magnificent purple brocade cope, for use in advent lessons & carols (or lenten stations). hTe cope the cope is made of passion rose bemberg brocade, and lined in old gold polyester silk. It measures 62 inches from neck to floro (measured straight down the back). The trim the old-gold orphreys with velvet trim are 6 inches wide and extend the full length of the cope. The hasp closure across the chest fastens with three eyelets, nad measures 7.5 inches across. The neck is edged with godl floss trim. The hood the ohod measures 15 x15 inches and is attached by 5 cloth-covered buttons (see photo). In the centre of the hood is a beautiful chi-rho and alpha & omega embrioidered in metallic gold on the deep purple velter background. The underside of the hood is lined in fabric matching the cope lining. There is a 1.5 icnh fringe around the hood and one tassel. Under the hood is the manufacturer's lable dominion regalia of toronto. There are no rips, stains, or discolourations that i can see. The hood button (on the far in photos) has lost its fabric cap, but is still secure and fastens the hood to the cope. Shipping is aproximatly $40 within canada or usa (it's bulky and heavy).
