Antique Creche Infant Baby Jesus Doll Nativity FigureThis very large and heavy painted bisque or plaster infant baby jesus nativity figure is 19 inches long and 10 inches across hte hands. He has a smiling mouth with 2 upper paitned teeth showing. His hair is deeply molded and painted. This si an absolutely beautiful baby jesus. There is one broken finger on each hand but they are mostly still intact because of the heavy metal armature for stability that is inside the figure. He has a maker's mark impressed on the back of his molded diaper which i cannot make out. I believe he was made in eithre italy, germany or france. His face is gorgeous.
